ABOUT THE COURSE
Additive Manufacturing for Innovative Design and Production is an online course tailored for manufacturing professionals from engineers to executives. Led by MIT Professor John Hart and featuring dozens of expert contributors, the course presents the technical foundation of AM, explains how to design parts for AM using advanced digital tools, and equips learners with the knowledge and confidence to identify and evaluate applications of AM. The course concludes with an in-depth case study, where you will solve a real-world design or business strategy problem using your newly acquired AM expertise.
This course reflects MIT’s standards of technically comprehensive, rigorous instruction while placing heavy emphasis on real-world uses of AM and its practical implications.
